For the removal of spray can type paints and other markers from brickwork, stonework and
masonry on old buildings
"spray can paint remover"
Explosive when dry.
Contact with combustible material may cause fire.
In use, may form flammable/ explosive vapor- air mixture.
May form explosive peroxides.
May cause SENSITIZATION by skin contact.
HARMFUL - May cause lung damage if swallowed.
Harmful by inhalation, in contact with skin and if swallowed.
Irritating to eyes and skin.
Vapors may cause dizziness or suffocation.
Very toxic to aquatic organisms, may cause long- term adverse effects in the
aquatic environment.
Accidental ingestion of the material may be harmful; animal experiments indicate that ingestion of less than 150 gram may be fatal or may produce serious damage to the health of the individual. There is some evidence to suggest that this material can cause, if swallowed once, irreversible damage of organs. Swallowing of the liquid may cause aspiration into the lungs with the risk of chemical pneumonitis; serious consequences may result. (ICSC13733). d-limonene, if ingested, causes a non-bloody diarrhea and abnormalities in bone formation. A strong urge to pass bowel may occur with little or no stools actually passed. In massive doses death may occur.
This material can cause eye irritation and damage in some persons. The material may produce severe irritation to the eye causing pronounced inflammation. Repeated or prolonged exposure to irritants may produce conjunctivitis.
There is some evidence to suggest that this material, on a single contact with skin, can cause irreversible damage of organs. Skin contact with the material may damage the health of the individual; systemic effects may result following absorption. The material may cause moderate inflammation of the skin either following direct contact or after a delay of some time. Repeated exposure can cause contact dermatitis which is characterized by redness, swelling and blistering. Entry into the blood-stream, through, for example, cuts, abrasions or lesions, may produce systemic injury with harmful effects. Examine the skin prior to the use of the material and ensure that any external damage is suitably protected. d-limonene causes moderate irritation to skin including redness and swelling. Sometimes there are delayed hemorrhagic lesions. The material may cause skin irritation after prolonged or repeated exposure and may produce on contact skin redness, swelling, the production of vesicles, scaling and thickening of the skin.
Inhalation of vapors or aerosols (mists, fumes), generated by the material during the course of normal handling, may be harmful. There is some evidence to suggest that this material can cause, if inhaled once, irreversible damage of organs.
There has been some concern that this material can cause cancer or mutations but there is not enough data to make an assessment. Skin contact with the material is more likely to cause a sensitization reaction in some persons compared to the general population. The material may accumulate in the human body and progressively causetissue damage. d-Limonene may cause damage to and growths in the kidney. These growths can progress to cancer. Ingestion may result in intoxication and drunkenness. In chronic form this may result in alcoholism, liver damage. One ingredient of the product has caused skin sensitization reactions, shown as localized reddening and hives, or may produce respiratory sensitization characterized by asthma- like symptoms and runny nose.
