Typically blended (shandied) with recycled RO water (recycled industiral water) and
supplied for Bluescope Steel industrial use. It is the intention of Bluescope Steel to use
it for: - Cooling tower makeup water, - Industrial process water, - Dust suppression, -
Boiler feed water, - Slag quenching, - Coke quenching, - Fire fighting. NOTE: Not intended
as drinking water. Non- hazardous when ingested. However, precautionary first aid measures
have been included in the First Aid section below.

Considered to be non toxic. Ingestion may result in nausea, abdominal irritation, pain and vomiting.
Although the liquid is not thought to be an irritant, direct contact with the eye may produce transient discomfort characterized by tearing or conjunctival redness (as with windburn).
The material is not thought to produce adverse health effects or skin irritation following contact (as classified using animal models). Nevertheless, good hygiene practice requires that exposure be kept to a minimum and that suitable gloves be used in an occupational setting.
